and the Chanting of Eicha- the Book of Lamentations

Tisha B’av marks one of the saddest days on our Jewish calendar, when we fast as we remember the destruction of both the First and Second Temples.
 
This year it also offers us an opportunity to reflect on and offer our own lamentations for the losses we have suffered in this time of the Corona Virus, as we consider how the Jewish community deals with loss while moving into the future.
