Children’s Programs and Activities
- PreSchool, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade Rotation Program – A special rotation program is available to engage the younger children in age-appropriate ways. Advance registration, though, is important, to make sure that we have proper supplies and staffing. The rotation will include songs, stories, crafts, games, and prayers.
- Junior Congregation – Junior Congregation is particularly geared towards pre-Bar/Bat Mitzvah school age children including those who are working towards reading Hebrew and those who are already reading Hebrew. These services are a mixture of English and Hebrew and are led in a way so as to be meaningful and engaging for children learning the prayers and the service. Junior Congregation services are designed to be educational services providing opportunity for pre-Bar/Bat Mitzvah students to learn and progress forward on their Judaic journey towards becoming ready to be counted as Bar/Bat Mitzvah. A specially designed Youth Service Machzor (High Holy Day prayer book) is used. Parents are welcome to join their children for the service.
