Shabbat (Saturday) Morning Services

Our regular Shabbat Morning Services start at 9:30 and end at or shortly after noon. Our Torah Reading Society covers most, if not all, of the Torah Reading on most Shabbat mornings with participation from families celebrating simchas such as B’nai Mitzvah (becoming a Jewish “adult”), Ufrufs (upcoming wedding) and baby namings. Our B’nai Mitzvah lead the congregation in significant portions of the morning service as part of the celebration of their simchas.

Separate from our regular Shabbat Morning Services, we offer Meditation Shabbat, Tot Shabbat, Junior Congregation and other special Shabbat morning programs.  Tot Shabbat is a brief interactive service for preschoolers filled with Shabbat songs and PJ Library books, followed by social time with other young families at the congregational Oneg. While Junior Congregation is offered primarily for our Religious School students, many of their parents have found that Junior Congregation helps them to prepare for upcoming B’nai Mitzvah by learning or relearning prayers along with their children. Please see the calendar on this website for the dates of these other Shabbat morning programs.
