Holy Day Services
We hold services for the mornings of Pesach, Shavuot, Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah at 9:30 am. We also hold an evening service for Simchat Torah starting shortly after sundown. Please consult the calendar.
We hold services for Purim in the evening and also in the morning when Purim occurs on Saturday night. Services are typically held shortly after sundown. Please consult the calendar.
We hold services for Tisha B’Av in the evening. Services start at or shortly after sundown. Please consult the calendar.
For Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur, we offer a number of different services and programs for the mornings and for Kol Nidre (and the evening service). To accommodate all of our members, we hold two parallel services from Torah Reading through the end of the morning service. Rabbi Nesson and Cantor Yucht work together and a visiting Rabbi and either Cantor Emeritus Attias or a visiting Cantor work together for the other service. Our clergy rotate so that those attending either parallel service have the opportunity of hearing all of our clergy during the course of Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur mornings and Kol Nidre.
We also hold a family service designed to serve families with children younger than second grade as well as Junior Congregation and other forms of services during Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur.
We also hold evening services on Rosh Hashanna, the afternoon service on both Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur, and the concluding Neilah service on Yom Kippur.
