Kadima

The middle-school-age affiliate of United Synagogue Youth (USY), Kadima is for children in grades 6-7-8.  Kadima provides a much needed break for today’s busy tween who is navigating new academics and friends at junior high, mastering  trope, doing a mitzvah project, having the Bar/Bat Mitzvah itself and thinking about high school.  Awash in more responsibilities than ever before, Kadima members enjoy Jewish and secular activities and trips with friends they’ve often had since preschool.  Kadima at MJCBY is reinvigorating with new, fun programs in addition to monthly meetings after Religious School on Sunday.
